SSC CPO Eligibility
SSC has set some particular guidelines to allow the applicants to apply for the CPO exam. The complete details regarding eligibility requirements are stated here.
Age
The applicant willing to participate in the CPO exam, organized by SSC, should be of 20 years of age, whereas the maximum limit is not more than 25 years. Therefore, their birth dates need to fall between January 2, 1996, and January 1, 2001. Upper age relaxations are available for reserved category candidates. For SC and ST candidates, the limit is five years, and for OBC candidates, the limit is three years. Educational Qualification
The participants need to be a graduate from a recognized university to be eligible to sit for the exam. Even if the candidates have pursued their bachelor's or any equivalent degree through distance education mode are permitted to apply. Any candidate who is yet to complete their graduation isn't applicable to sit for the exam.
Nationality
The applicants, compulsorily need to be an Indian citizen to apply for the CPO exam. Anyone who is a subject of Nepal or Bhutan can apply as well. However, the Indian Government must issue an eligibility certificate in the latter case.
SSC CPO Selection Process
Every year, SSC observes a particular pattern to recruit candidates in the posts of SI and ASI.

The candidates need to complete their online application and fee payment.

Eligible candidates get to download the admit cards on the scheduled date, and they appear for the Paper 1 exam.

The individuals passing this round are summoned for the Physical Efficiency Test that has two parts, Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET). The candidates must meet all the guidelines in these tests, as their physical fitness assessment is done here.

The ones who get through the phase of Physical assessment, are eligible to sit for the 2nd PaperPaper, online and qualify it.

The final candidates who clear paper II undergo a medical examination, where their eye sights, strength, etc. are tested.

Aspirants successfully clearing all the stages need to wait for the final decision. SSC takes a choice, and a list of final candidates is declared.
