SSC Stenographer Overview
Staff Selection Commission (SSC), hosts SSC Stenographer entrance annually, to recruit Group C and D (Group B non gazetted and group C respectively) stenographers at various departments. The exam is conducted in two stages. After the first online mode, shortlisted candidates appear for the typing efficiency assessment, based on which final slots are allocated.
As for 2020, the notification will be released on 10th October. The computer-based objective test is scheduled for the upcoming December. Notably, the recruitment process for years 2018 and 2019 is yet to be completed by the commission.
