SSC CHSL Overview
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) organizes SSC CHSL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level) annually to hire candidates for various posts such as Lower Divisional Clerk, Postal Assistant, DEO, Data Entry Operator, Sorting Assistant, Junior Secretariat Assistant. The selected aspirant can be posted anywhere in the country.
The entrance is done through three tiers. After the first two tires, the third phase is held to assess the candidates' skilled efficiency. For 2020, the tier I exam is likely to be conducted in October.

21st July 2020: The exam dates have been revised by the commission and are likely to occur in the upcoming October.
1st June 2020: The schedule for 2020 CHSL entrance has been revised. The exam is most likely to occur in August.
22nd May 2020: The updated schedule for the CHSL Exam will be announced in June.
19th March 2020: SSC CHSL Tier I exams are postponed due to the outbreak of COVID 19.
16th September 2020: SSC announced new dates of the examination.

Are there age relaxation available for SSC CHSL ENTRANCE?
Yes, upper age relaxations are available for reserved category candidates in the CHSL entrance. For SC/ST, the limit is five years, whereas, for OBC candidates, the same is three years.
Are the marks deducted for wrong answers?
Yes, for each wrong answer by the applicant, he or she is penalized with 0.50 marks.
