To be hired as a SEBI assistant manager, you have to meet the eligibility criteria set by the exam authority. The conducting body allows candidates to apply for two streams, maximum. See the specification in the section beneath.

Nationality – Candidates belonging to India are only eligible to give the SEBI Officer Grade A Assistant Manager recruitment exam.

Master’s degree in computer application or Bachelor's in an affair with a postgraduate degree in Information technology or Computer. Applicants possessing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Communication/ Computer Science and Information technology can also apply. |
Civil Engineering |
Candidates Should necessarily hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from a well-known institute or parallel to it. |
Electrical Engineering |
Students should mandatorily bear a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a well-known institute. |
Research |
Master’s degree in Economics/ Finance, Statistics/ Commerce/ Econometrics from a well-known institute is a must. |
Official Language |
Candidates must bear a master’s degree in Hindi, with English as a necessary affair at the Bachelor's level. Individuals holding a master’s degree in English/ Sanskrit/ Commerce/ Economics with Hindi as a mandatory topic in the Bachelor's degree from a well-known institute are also fit for applying. |
