Karnataka TET Exam Overview
Karnataka TET is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for the appointment of primary and upper primary teachers in government schools across the state. You must note that Karnataka TET is just an eligibility exam, and the candidates must clear Karnataka TET to appear for Teacher Recruitment Exam conducted by the state government. Candidates willing to appear for Karnataka TET must register on the official website of the School Education Board of Karnataka.
The department conducted the KARTET examination 2020 on October 4, at various centers spread across the state. The exam was held in 604 centers across the state. A total of 74,077 had registered for Paper I and 1,69,716 candidates had applied for Paper-II.
