Karnataka TET Exam Eligibility
KARTET is held in two parts, paper I and paper II. Find the eligibility for both the papers below:
KARTET Paper-I Eligibility
Age: There is no age limit for KARTET, candidates with a relevant educational qualification from any age group can apply for the exam.
Educational Qualification:
PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEl.Ed)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
KAR TET Paper-II Eligibility
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)
OR
PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (BEl.Ed)
OR
PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year BA.Ed /BSc.Ed
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in Final-year B.Ed (Special Education)
Karnataka TET Exam Selection Process
School Education Board of Karnataka will issue a Karnataka TET eligibility certificate to the qualified candidates. These candidates are eligible for the state-level teacher recruitment exam.
Karnataka TET Exam Exam Pattern
Karnataka TET 2019 exam is divided into Paper I and Paper-II. Candidates aspiring to become Primary Teachers must appear for Paper I. On the other hand, candidates willing to become upper primary teachers must appear for Paper-II. Candidates with relevant educational qualification can apply for Paper I and II.
