UPSC CDS II Eligibility
Aspirants desiring to sit for the 2020 CDS II exam need to meet certain norms. Below mentioned are the specifications that they need to attain.

Nationality – Aspirants desiring to sit for the CDS II examination should necessarily be an Indian civilian, or a Tibetan refugee, or a subject of Bhutan or Nepal.

Educational Qualification – Educational qualification requirements under the CDS post needs at least a graduation degree from a well-known university or parallel to it. However, it varies post wise; check the official website for detailed specifications.

Age limit – Age limit and marital status criteria both are essential to get selected under the CDS. It varies post wise; check out the section underneath for more specification.

Indian Military Academy (IMA) – Age should be in between 19 and 24 years with unmarried marital status.

Indian Naval Academy (INA) – Age must be more than 19 years and less than 22 years with the marital status being unmarried.

Air Force Academy (AFA) – Age should be in between 19 and 23 years. Candidates with less than 25 years must be unmarried but married folks with more than 25 years of age are eligible to apply. But in the span of the training period, they will neither be administered married accommodation nor can they dwell with their family out of the premises.

Officer's Training Academy (SSC Course for Women: Non - Technical) – Age must be in between 19 to 25 years. Only unmarried women, issueless divorcees, and widows who have not remarried are eligible to apply.
Officer's Training Academy (SSC Course for Men) – Age should be in between 19 and 25 years with unmarried marital status.
UPSC CDS II Selection Process
Every year the UPSC adopts a specific pattern and rule to recruit worthy candidates via the CDS II entrance examination. The same way is structured below.

Aspirants successfully registering for the CDS II entrance are eligible to sit for the written examination.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their efficiency in the written test for the next round, i.e., the interview phase.

Candidates will be finally selected for job recruitment under the CDS, based on their performance in both the written test and interview phase.

Who is the governing authority of the CDS II exam?
The Union Public Service Commission or the UPSC governs both the CDS I and CDS II exam.
Is there any process to receive the hard copy of the admit card for the CDS exam?
No. The applicants won’t receive any hard copy of the admit card for the CDS entrance exam.
Is there any process to alter the preference of the exam center?
No. The conducting authority does not entertain any appeal to alter the exam center.
Does the exam organization allow a calculator in the examination hall?
No. The exam organization, i.e., the UPSC, does not allow a calculator in the exam center.
