IB ACIO Overview
IB ACIO is a national level entrance, conducted once a year by the Ministry of Home Affairs to hire candidates as Assistant Central Intelligence Officers (Grade II) in Intelligence Bureau. It is categorized under the General Central State Service (non gazetted group C).
The exam has three stages that include the first two tiers of written test followed by the face to face interview round. As in 2020, the conducting body is yet to finalize the dates regarding the exam. However, a tentative schedule has been prepared.

The minimum marks to qualify the tier I stage of ACIO Entrance, as prescribed by IB, is 33% which is calculated out of 100. The figures are the same for tier II as well. However, in the latter case, the cut off was calculated out of 50. Candidates need to score the minimum marks in order to be eligible to sit for the next stage.
