UPSC CDS II Overview
The Combined Defense Services exam is organized by the UPSC, or the Union Public Service Commission is regulated to recruit candidates for the post of Commissioned Officers in the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy. Candidates selected under these posts undergo training at the Air Force Academy (AFA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Indian Military Academy (IMA), Officers Training Academy (OTA). It is considered as a national level defense entrance examination, held twice a year, usually in February and September.
CDS exam is conducted in two parts, namely I and II. For the current year 2020, the CDS II exam is to be held on 8th November. It involves a written test along with a personal interview phase.
