NDA & NA II Exam Selection Process
The UPSC adopts some specific guidelines for the NDA and NA II exam. There is a definite method of hiring enthusiastic candidates under the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. Check them under the below section.

Who is the governing authority of the NDA and NA II national level examination?
The UPSC or the Union Public Service Commission organizes the NDA and NA II national level examination, held twice a year.
In which mode is the written test for the NDA and NA II recruitment process conducted?
The UPSC regulates the NDA and NA II entrance examination in offline mode.
How is an individual recruited under the NDA and NA?
Any aspiring candidate desiring to sit for the NDA and NA II exam must come through the written examination at first. Candidates will be elected from this phase, based on their merit for the interview phase. They will be finally hired under the NDA and NA based on their efficiency in the personal interview.
How many seats have the governing body released for the NDA and NA II exam?
The number of vacancies issued by the UPSC is 413. Seats available under the NDA are 370, and 43 for the NA. Check the official website of the governing body for more details.
What is the need for age limit and educational qualification to sit for the NDA and NA II exam?
A candidate should have necessarily finished his 12 boards from a well-known institution or parallel to it. The individual's birthday should be after 2001 and before 2004. This principle should be strictly followed as per the UPSC.
