UPSC CAPF Overview
The UPSC once in a year,organizes the CAPF entrance to hire candidates in Central Armed Police Forces. The selected ones join the post as Assistant Commandant. This national level competitive exam is done through three stages: a written exam, physical test, and personal interview or personality test. The forces that hire candidates with the aid of this entrance are, BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, and SSB.
Reportedly, the CAPF entrance in 2020 will take place on 20th December. The notifications are expected to be published on 18th August.

UPSC has announced the category wise cut off marks for CAPF entrance. For General category candidates, the paper I and II cut off is between 165-175. For OBC applicants, the figures are between 160 and 165 whereas, for S.C. and S.T., the numbers are between 145-150 and 140-145, respectively.
