Delhi Police Syllabus
The 1st phase of Delhi Police Recruitment process is the written test that is held online. The test has five sections. The syllabus for the computer-based written tests is detailed here.

Delhi Police Selection Process
The authorities follow a definite pattern to recruit candidates for the posts of head constable in Delhi. The detailed pattern is briefed here.

Candidates will have to pay the fee and submit the application form within the scheduled time period.

Registered candidates can have their call letters from the website on the exact date and sit for the online objective-based test.

The ones who get through this test are eligible to apply for the next session, which is the Physical Measurement and Physical Endurance Test. The candidates are tested on their physical fitness. The ones who clear all the requirements in these stages are directed to the next phase of the recruitment process.

The aspirants appear for the computer typing test. Here, their typing skills are tested.

Candidates who pass the typing test, appear for the last stage which is of computer formatting. They are examined on the basics of computers, such as MS WORD, MS OFFICE, POWERPOINT etc.

Candidates who pass all these stages are shortlisted for the post of Delhi Police Head Constable recruitment. The final list of selected candidates is published on the website, depending on their performance in the phase, seats available etc.
Delhi Police FAQs
When will Delhi PoliceRecruitment take place in 2020?
The authorities have announced the final schedule for the 2020 Delhi Police selection. The written test will be starting for the last week of November and shall last until the second week of December.
Are there age relaxation available for Delhi Police Recruitment process?
Yes, there are age relaxation facilities provided to the candidates of the reserved category. For SC and ST candidates, the figures are 5 years whereas for OBC candidates the figures are 3 years.
Is there negative marking in Delhi Police Recruitment process?
Yes, candidates are penalized with 0.25 marks for every wrong answer they give. It is recommendable that the aspirants don’t give any answers just through mere guesses.
How many times can one attempt to give the Delhi Police exam?
There is no limit as such. Candidates need to pass the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the exam, and that's it.
