UPSC SCRA Eligibility
To sit for the UPSC SCRA exam, students need to meet certain norms to be eligible. Below mentioned are the criteria that they need to attain:

Nationality – Aspirants wishing to sit for the UPSC SCRA exam must be a citizen of India.

Educational Qualification – Candidates must have finished their 12th standards from a well-known board or University. Mathematics should necessarily be their principal subject with Physics and Chemistry as the compulsory ones. They should have passed their 12th standards with at least 2nd division.

Age Limit – The candidates must be more than 17 years of age and less than the 21 years barrier, as on 1st January 2020. Age relaxation facilities are included, too, as mentioned below.

OBC Category – 3 years

Jammu and Kashmir Residence – 5 years

Candidates from Defense Services – 3 years
Ex-Servicemen, SSCOs, ECOs, Military Services – 5 years
UPSC SCRA Selection Process
Every year, the UPSC follows a specific pattern for the SCRA exam to hire candidates via this entrance. The same way is structured below.

Applicants successfully registering for the UPSC SCRA exam in the official portal of the governing authority are worthy of being in the session for the written examination.
- Applicants showing their efficiency in the written test will be shortlisted for the next round, i.e., the interview phase, to assess the personality test of an individual.

Applicants who are preferred from the written examination based on their merit, for the next round, i.e., the interview phase, have to perform well to get the job.
