UPSC NDA Eligibility
UPSC has set specific guidelines for the candidates, which they need to pass through the shortlisting process. The detailed eligibility requirements are stated below.
Age Limit

Those willing to apply for NDA 1 must have been born between 2nd July 2001 and 1st July 2004. For, NDA 2 exam, the candidates, birth dates shall lie between 2nd January 2002 and 1st January 2005.

The age is interpreted based on the School Leaving certificate at the Matriculation level.
Educational Qualification
The educational background requirements are variable for every candidate, based on the post they have applied for. The exact requirements are briefed here for better insight.
Army: The aspirants should have got through their 12th Standard under the 10+2 system from a recognized university.
Air Force, Navy, Naval Academy: Candidates need to have passed their 12th boards with mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects from any recognized university or state board.
UPSC NDA Selection Process
There is a particular structure that is followed by UPSC while recruiting candidates for NDA. The details are provided here.

Interested applicants must complete the process of online registration and fee processing.

Successfully registered candidates can avail their admit cards for the written test from UPSC's website on the given date.

The aspirants sit for the written test based on General ability and mathematics, consisting of a total of 900 marks. Those who manage to get the minimum marks as prescribed by UPSC ate directed to the SSB interview.

The SSB interview has two sections. Through this interview, the intelligence level and personality of the candidates are assessed. The ones who clear the first phase of the interview are called for the second phase.

The results are declared on UPSC's website, based on the performance of the candidates in the written exam and interview.

Final recruitment is done based on available seats, and preference is given to the candidates, etc.

Is NDA entrance hard to crack?
NDA is a hugely attempted exam, with numerous aspirants appearing for it from all over India. Candidates must go through sample questions sets and do lots of practice. Cracking the same exams and mock tests can also prove to be utterly fruitful in the final rounds.
