UPSC IFS Prelims Exam Eligibility
Aspirants desiring to sit for the IFS exam organized by the UPSC have to meet specific norms to be eligible for the entrance. Below mentioned are the specifications that they need to attain.

Nationality –Applicants wishing to sit for the IFS exam must be a citizen of India. Apart from that, the subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee are also fit for applying.

Educational Qualification – To sit for the IFS entrance examination, a candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in any one subject, namely, Botany, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Mathematics, Geology, Statistics, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Agriculture or Forestry from a well-known university or parallel to it.

Age Limit – Candidates sitting for the IFS exam must be more than 21 years of age. Also, the rule is that it should not cross the 32 years of age. However, the age relaxation facility also depends upon the category of the applicant.
