To be eligible to sit for the UNION BANK SO Exam, the applicants need to fulfill some primary requirements. Though, for different posts, the age limitations and educational qualifications are variable. Candidates who wish to join as officers/economist/ must hold a bachelor's degree in fire engineering/economics from a recognized institution and must have a work experience of 10/3 years in the respective fields.

Candidates applying for the post of the integrated treasury, credit officer should pass their graduation in any area along with a specialization or master's or PGDM degree in accounting/MBA/finance/international business from a recognized institution.

Applicants willing to sit for the post of a security officer should graduate in any field and must possess five years of experience in the concerned field.

A person with an Indian origin and has come from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Ethiopia, Zaire, Malawi, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to settle in India permanently.
