PPSC Eligibility
Some particulars guidelines compulsorily need to be followed by the applicants while registering for the PPSC entrance. The detailed eligible requirements are mentioned here.
Age Limit

The candidates who desire to sit for the Deputy Superintendent Posts need 21 years of age. The maximum age restriction for this post is 28 years, as in January 2020.

Candidates who wish to apply for any other posts must be aged between 21 and 37 years.
Educational Background

The ones who had their graduation from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the entrance. Anyone, who awaits his or her final results can apply to and sit for the prelims exam. However, to get permission to give the mains, the individual will require to show his degree certificate.

The candidates should have passed in the Punjabi language, at least till their matriculation level.
Physique
There are specific physique requirements that the candidates must fulfill if they are opting for the posts of Deputy Superintendent or District Probationary Officer.
Men
Minimum Height: 5 feet 7 inches
Chest Measurement: 34.5 inches.
Women
Minimum Height: 5 feet 3 inches
Chest Measurement: Unexpanded
PPSC Selection Process

The applicants who will give the entrance, conducted by PPSC, must fill the application form and complete the fee processing.

The candidates with proper registration can get their call letters for prelims from the official portal of PPSC, on the given date.

The aspirants appear for the prelims, and successful ones are directed to the mains exam round.

They can again get their admit from the website and sit for the mains exam. The ones who qualify the test followed by the interview, merge out to be successful.

In the case of Deputy Superintendent or District Probationary Officer, the candidates need to get through a physical test to prove their efficiency on that ground.

Is PPSC entrance very challenging to pass?
The PPSC exam is a bit tough but hard-working candidates can pass it. They should practice and give initial practice tests to boost their confidence. Also, taking care of their physical health is another significant factor.
How many attempts can one make to give the PPSC exam?
PPSC has prescribed a maximum limit of 3 for the candidates to try and crack the competitive exam.
Is there any age relaxation given at PPSC entrance?
Yes, there are age relaxations available for PPSC entrance. For males belonging to the scheduled or backward class, the upper age relaxation is for five years, whereas for females, it is for eight years.
Are there any negative marking in PPSC entrance?
Both the papers of the PPSC entrance are conducted for two hours. There isn’t any negative marking to wrong answers. However, the candidates must not answer just through guessing.
