Educational Qualification:-

Name of Post	Educational Qualification
Project Scientist-III	Master’s Degree in Environmental Science/ Marine Science / Marine Biology or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute with at least first class not less than 60% marks. Minimum 7 years experience in research or teaching in the relevant field or collection of water, sediment, marine litter and microplastics and biological samples from the coastal and offshore environment. Experience in handling various analytical instruments for the analysis of chemical oceanographic parameters
Project Scientist-II	Master’s Degree in Geology / Applied Geology/ Marine Sciences / Marine Studies/Ocean science & Technology or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute with at least first class not less than 60% marks. Minimum three years of research experience in interpretation of coastal geomorphology, beach profiles, shoreline change studies and mapping using GIS / Remote sensing Tools.
Project Scientist-I	B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute with at least first class not less than 60% marks.
Senior Research Fellow	Master’s Degree in Marine Science/Marine Chemistry/Chemical Oceanography / Analytical Chemistry or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with 60% marks or equivalent grade. NET/CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualification with two years of research experience in the analysis of chemical oceanographic parameters
Technical Assistant	Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from a recognized University.
Field Assistant	Degree in science or diploma in engineering or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute. Swimming experience and willingness to work on board research vessels/fishing boats.

MOES Recruitment Selection Process

The selection for the posts will be on the basis of the performance of the screened-in candidates in the interview. Director, NCCR reserve s the right to decide on the mode of interview either online/ offline. In case of online interview, all short-listed candidates will be provided a link for attending the online interview and the invitation link will be communicated separately and candidates should make their own arrangements for attending the interview in terms of connectivity of the internet.
