Below stated are the primary criteria required to appear for the LIC ASSISTANT exam 2020.
Age limit
The aspirant who wants to sit for the LIC ASSISTANT exam 2020 needs 18 years of age. The upper age restriction is 30 years as of 9th September 2020. Age relaxation facilities are provided to the candidates of reserved category. The detailed age relaxation criteria are tabulated here.

Educational Qualification
You need to be a graduate from a reputed institute in order to apply. Notably, the institute needs to be in India.
Notably, there is no need for any particular degree in any field. The only requirement an applicant must fulfill is to be a graduate with the stated percentage or equivalent grade.
Nationality
To be eligible to appear for the LIC ASSISTANT EXAM, the candidate must be an Indian citizen. Any exception to this regard, will not be permitted to give the exam.
LIC ASSISTANT EXAM Selection method

The interested candidates must complete the steps of online registration and fee payment.

They will be getting their admits on the scheduled date from the official site.

The candidates shall appear for the Prelims and obtain section-wise cut-offs to qualify for the mains.

The aspirants with minimum marks in the prelims are eligible to sit for the mains.

Shortlisted ones are given the call for a personal interview. The aggregate of the prelims and mains with interview assessment is calculated to process the final decision.

Before joining, candidates need to undergo a pre-recruitment medical test to prove eligibility.

The medical examination is conducted to interpret the overall health condition of the candidate. They are taken through weight and height evaluation, and their work abilities are examined. The aspirants successfully passing the pre recruitment medical exam, are hired as assistants at LIC.
