Syllabus for Preliminary Examination
1. General Studies Paper- I
i. History of India and Indian National Movement.
ii. India and World Geography.
iii. Indian Polity and Economy.
iv. History, Geography, Economy, and Culture of Jharkhand.
2. General Studies Paper-II
i. General Science.
ii. General Mental Ability.
iii. Current Events of State, National, and International Importance.
Syllabus for Main Examination -
Each paper of the JPSC Prelims exam will contain 100 MCQ questions and each question will carry 2 marks. Here we have provided the detailed subject-wise syllabus along with the total number of questions that will be asked in each subject. Have a look.

There are 267 vacancies for JPSC Combined Civil Services Examination.
Who can apply for JPSC?
An Indian citizen falling between the minimum and maximum age limit criteria set by the Jharkhand PSC can apply for the JPSC exam. For Jharkhand administrative services, the minimum age limit is 21 while the maximum is 35 for the general category.
Is the JPSC exam conducted every year?
Usually, the PSC exams take place annually, however, JPSC recently released the JPSC 6 final results. JPSC 7,8,9 have been canceled by the commission.
