HPPSC ADO Recruitment Eligibility
Age Limit (as of 01/01/2021)
The age limit of candidates applying for the post of ADO is as follows:
- Minimum Age: 18 years.
- Maximum Age: 45 years
Educational Qualification:-
- The candidate must have a B Sc. degree in Agriculture under the 4-year program and M Sc. (2nd Class) in Agriculture from a college/university recognized by the State/Central Government/ICAR.
- The candidate must have an M S. degree in 1st Class or above (Desired).
HPPSC ADO Recruitment Selection Process
The selection process for HPPSC ADO Recruitment 2021 is as follows:
- If the number of eligible candidates for recruitment to the post(s) is large, the Commission may limit/shortlist the number of eligible candidates by conducting either Computer-based Screening Test (objective-type) or OfflineScreening Test (objective/descriptive) of two hours duration.
- If the selection is done on the basis of online/offline test, then the candidate who has more marks in the Personality Test will be placed higher in the Personality Test.
- If more than one candidate scores equal in the Personality Test, then the candidate scoring more in the online/offline test will be placed higher in the merit list.
- If the selection is made only on the basis of Personality Test, then the candidate scoring higher will be placed in the merit list.
- If more than one candidate has scored equal marks, senior candidate will be placed higher higher in the merit list.

HPPSC ADO Recruitment Exam Pattern
The Commission will decide upon the conduction of online (objective)/offline (objective/descriptive) screening tests depending on the number of applications received. The exam pattern for the post of ADO is as follows:

Main Highlights: –
- The total number of questions will be 100.
- There will be 4 options for each question.
- Each question carries 1 mark.
- The negative marking scheme is 0.25 for each incorrect answer.
- Minimum pass marks in Computer Based Test/Offline Test (objective or descriptive) are 25% for the candidates of General category and 20% for the candidates of reserved categories.
