He/ She is a citizen of India.
Age
No person shall be eligible for direct recruitment if he/she is less than 18 years of age and if he/she is more than 42 years of age For Post Code Nos.01 to 05 as on 01/07/2019 as per G.O.Ms.No.132,GA (Ser-A) Dept., dated:15.10.2018. Candidates should not be born earlier than 2nd July 1977 and not later than 1st July 2001. For Post Code No.06 age not exceed 45 years.
Age Relaxation
Age Relaxation is applicable to the categories as detailed below.

Ex-Servicemen | Shall be allowed to deduct from his age a period of 3 years in addition to the length of service rendered by him in the armed forces / NCC. |

A.P. State Government Employees (Employees of APSEB, APSRTC, Corporations, Municipalities, etc. are not eligible). | 5 Years based on the length of regular service. |

Technical Assistant (Geophysics) in A.P. Ground Water Sub-Service | Degree in M.Sc or M.Sc (Tech) or M.Tech or its equivalent in Geophysics from a University or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission. |
Technical Assistants (Hydrogeology) in A.P. Ground Water Sub-Service | Must possess M.Sc. or M.Sc (Tech) or M.Tech. in Geology or Applied Geology or Hydrogeology or its equivalent qualification from any University or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or equivalent qualification or any University recognized by the University Grants Commission under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or Diploma of Associateship in Applied Geology of the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. (As per G.O.Ms.No.12 Irrigation & CAD (ALS.2) Dept., dated: 24.01.2012). |
Technical Assistant in A.P. Mines and Geology Sub-Service | Must Possess B.Sc Degree in Geology from the any recognised University of India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, or a State sector an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission provided that candidate having practical experience for a period of not less than one year in the investigation of mineral deposits and geological mapping or mining or underground water resources shall be given preference. (As per G.O.Ms.No.205, Industries and Commerce (M1)(1), dept., Dated: 22/06/1999. |
Deputy Inspector of Survey in A.P. Survey and Land Records Sub Service | Must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering awarded by the A.P. State Board of Technical Education or its equivalent examination recognized by A.P. State Board of Technical Education. |
Technical Assistants in A.P. Archaeology & Museums Sub-Service | Must possess a First or second class post-graduate Degree in Archaeology or History or Indology or Anthropology or Museology or Sanskrit or Persian from any University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act or Provincial Act or a State Act or an Institute recognized by the University Grants Commission. OR Must possess 1st or 2nd class in Siromani (final) examination conducted by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati or any other examination equal to the above conducted by the universities in Andhra Pradesh. |
Welfare Organiser in A.P. Sainik Welfare Sub-Service | No person shall be eligible for appointment as a Welfare organizer unless – I) He had served as an Ex-Servicemen II) He has passed the Intermediate examination or its equivalent Examination. III) He is able to read, write, and speak the Telugu Language. |
APPSC Non-Gazetted Recruitment 2020 Selection Process
The selection of candidates for appointment to the posts shall be based on the merit in the computer-based examination. Appearance in all the papers of computer-based examination/Main examination is compulsory. Absence in any of the papers will automatically render the disqualification of the candidature.
