In accordance with the latest notification released by CBSE, the board has extended the dates for registration for private candidates of class 10th and 12th. Private candidates who have still not registered for the Board exams to be held in 2021 can now register themselves until 9th December 2020 on the official website- cbse.nic.in.
As per the earlier notification, the registration process for CBSE Board Exam 2021 for private candidates was until November. The last date to register for CBSE 10th and 12th Exam 2021 for private candidates was 25th November 2020. However, many students raised a request to the Board to extend the date for application to board exams and the window has again been re-opened for four days from 5th December to 9th December, 2020. Post that, a separate window for application correction shall be opened from 10th to 14th December, 2020.
With only four days left for the registration for CBSE Board Exams 2021, students are now rushing to complete the registration process and submit the application forms. If any student is still unclear about the eligibility criteria for taking benefit of this extended date of application, check for the below points:
- Failed Students: Students who failed in the CBSE Board Exam that was held in February/March.
- Students with Compartmental Result: Students who scored compartment in the CBSE Main Exam 2019 and in July 2019 Exam.
- Students who wish to Re-appear: Students who have cleared the CBSE Board Exam held in 2019 but are willing to improve their score can re-appear for the 2020 Board Exams as private students.
- Students with Additional Subject: Students who wish to appear for an Additional Subject and clear the exam are eligible as private students.
