SBI PO 2020 Eligibility
The given below are the basic criteria that a candidate needs to fulfil to meet the eligibility of the SBI PO exam.

Age limit: The applicant must be above 21 years of age and should be more than 30 years according to the official SBI PO examination.

Educational qualification: The candidate willing to give the SBI PO Exam must be a graduate from a recognized university.

Citizenship: The aspiring candidate must be an Indian.
SBI PO 2020 Selection Process
The PO exam of SBI is scheduled to be held in 3 tiers, as mentioned below:

Tier 1: SBI PO Prelims Examination

Tier 2: SBI PO Mains Examination

Tier 3: Group discussion and Personal interview.
The selection for the position of a probationary officer in various branches of State Bank of India is made based on the preliminary, mains, GD, and personal interview.

All the candidates who have successfully applied for the SBI PO examination will be given hall tickets for appearing in the Tier 1 phase.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks they have scored in the Tier-1, i.e. the prelims exam.

The shortlisted candidates only will be appearing in the Tier-2 of the SBI PO, i.e. the mains exam.

Candidates will again be shortlisted based on the score and percentile they have obtained.

Candidates who secure a score above the qualifying percentile will be called for group discussion and a personal interview. The qualifying percentile criteria are different for each caste.

Is the SBI PO a private job or government Job?

The probation period does exist for the newly appointed SBI probationary officers, which is for 2 years. The probation period may be extended, and it depends on the overall performance of the candidate during the two years of probation.
Number of times a candidate appear for SBI PO Exam?
The number of chances depends on the candidate’s caste. If the candidate belongs to a general category, he/she can appear 4 times. For the candidates belonging to the Other Backward Classes (OBC), the number of chances is 7. There’s no restriction on the number of chances for candidates belonging to SC/ST cases.
What is the eligibility for the SBI PO Exam?
According to the basic eligibility criteria for the SBI PO exam, the candidates shall 21 years plus of age and below 30 years. There's an age relaxation chance for the reserved categories. Age relaxation for OBC, SC/ST is 3, 5 years respectively. The candidate must complete graduation from a university recognized by UGC or an institution. A candidate of a final year or the final semester can also appear for the examination. But, he/she shall provide the proof of completion of the degree. The candidate should be an Indian. if any candidate who fails to adhere to the eligibility criteria laid by the conducting body will not be selected.

Though there's no official information declared regarding the vacancies, the total number of vacancies for the SBI Probationary officer post is estimated to be around 2000. Is there an interview process for the SBI PO selection?
Yes, the selection process for the SBI PO position does include an interview process which is the final stage of the selection process. A candidate who has successfully cleared the tier 1 and tier 2 will be called for a group discussion post which the shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview.
What is the salary of an SBI probationary officer?
According to the salary structure of the SBI PO, the basic pay is around 27,620 (with 4 advance increments). The minimum total compensation is 8.20 lakhs per annum, and the maximum total compensation is 13.08 lakhs depending upon the job location and other factors. The SBI PO salary does include various perks, allowances, and benefits.
