APSC JE Recruitment Eligibility
Nationality
The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. The candidate must produce a PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes as proof of residency.
Age
Fishery Development Officer & Allied Cadre- The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of 01/01/2020. The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. up to 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.
(iii) For Persons with Disability (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of the candidate as per Govt. Notification No. ABP 144/95/121 dated Dispur the 28th October 2015.
Junior Engineer (Civil)- The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of 01/01/2020. The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. up to 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.

Educational Qualifications

Fishery Development Officer & Allied Cadre | B.F.Sc. Degree from any College/University recognized by I.C.A.R. or D.F.Sc. or Master of Science (Fisheries) from C.I.F.E., Mumbai, or any other Institute of I.C.A.R. Preference will be given to those candidates having experience in serving the Fishery Department under various projects related to Aquaculture and Fishery Extension. |
Junior Engineer (Civil) | 3 (Three) years Diploma Course in Civil Engineering from any Institution recognized by AICTE. |
Plant Manager | The candidate must have a Degree in Dairy Technology from a recognized University/Institution. |
