APPSC Gazetted Recruitment Eligibility

Provided that no candidate other than a citizen of India may be appointed except with the previous sanction of the State Government and except in accordance with such conditions and restrictions as they may be laid down. Such sanction shall not be accorded unless the State Government is satisfied that a sufficient number of citizens of India, who are qualified and suitable is not available.

Civil Assistant Surgeons in A.P Insurance Medical Service | 18-42 | (i) Must Possess an M.B.B.S. Degree or an equivalent qualification as entered in the schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 as subsequently amended. (ii) Must be a permanent Registered Medical Practitioner within the meaning of the Law for the time being existing in the State. |
Zilla Sainik Welfare Officers in Sainik Welfare Service | Maximum 52 | a) Shall be exclusively filled by ExServicemen from the Army, Navy, and Air Force. No Ex-Servicemen who retired below the rank of Captain or equivalent Rank in the Army, Navy, or Air Force shall be eligible. b) Must possess the minimum general educational qualification prescribed in the Schedule to the general rules or equivalent qualification of Indian Army, Navy, or Air-Force. Assistant Director in Andhra Pradesh Town & Country Planning | 18-42 | Must possess of minimum qualification of B.E (Civil) or B. Planning / B.Tech (Planning) or B.Arch or MA (Geography) and must possess a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Town and Country Planning from University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act or Provincial Act, or Institution or Fellowship or Associateship of the Institute of Town Planners of India or equivalent membership of Professional Institute of Planner recognized by the University Grants Commission, (as per the provisions made under G.O.Ms.No.197 MA DT. 25/03/1992 as amended in G.O.Ms.No.266, MA&UD(B2) Dept. dt.10/07/2012). |
Assistant Chemist in A.P. Ground Water Service | 18-42 | Must hold M.Sc Degree in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or a Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology from a University or institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent Qualification. |

Technical Assistant (Automobile Engineering) in A.P Police Transport Organisation | 21-30 | Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical engineering with automobile engineering as one of the subjects of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification. i) Must possess practical experience of not less than two years in R.T.C workshop or defense motor transport workshop or in any workshop of a motor transport manufacturing concern or a reputed workshop handling repairs and maintenance of a motor vehicle or in any State Government workshop handling repairs and maintenance of motor vehicles. ii) Must have the ability to read and write one of the three languages namely Telugu, Hindi, and English. |
Physical measurements a) must not be less than 167.6 cm in height b) must not be less than 86.3 cm round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cm. Provided that in case of candidates belonging to Schedule Tribes and Aboriginal Tribes where the reserved quota cannot be fully utilized for want of sufficient candidates possessing the requisite physical standards the physical standards shall be as specified below. 1. Must not less than 164 cm in height and must not less than 83.80 cm round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cm. 2. Must be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses.

The selection of candidates for appointment to the posts shall be based on the merit in the computer-based examination.
