MPPSC Forest Service Recruitment Selection Process
Selection Process:-
- Preliminary exam - Prelims exam are the first stage of the selection process that a candidate needs to clear to get selected for the next stage i.e the mains examination
- Mains Exam - After clearing the prelims exam candidates will be next called for the second stage i.e the mains examination.
- Interview - After clearing the above the mentioned stages candidates will finally be called for an interview. In this round candidate’s personality will be analyzed by the board of members through questionnaires set by them.
- Physical Standards Test/Physical Efficiency Test & Medical Exam - After clearing the above two stages Commission will release a list in which it will release the list of selected candidates eligible to go the PST and PET round. In this stage candidates, physical efficiency and endurance will be tested.
- Medical Fitness Test - Candidates will be checked on various medical grounds to check whether the candidates are healthy enough to be selected, more details on this stage would be updated.

- The marks scored in this exam are not considered for final merit. This exam is just for screening purposes.
- There shall be no negative marking.
- There shall be 100 questions in each paper worth 2 marks.
The MPPSC Forest Service Mains Exam pattern comprises two Parts i.e Part A and Part B. In Part, A question will be asked from the subjects like General Knowledge of M.P, Politics, and Economy of M.P. whereas in Part B questions will be asked from Forestry and General Science.
