Nationality – Candidates seating for the ICMR JRF exam must be a citizen of India.

Educational Qualification – To be worthy of the ICMR JRF exam, the applicants should acquire a minimum degree of M.A. or MSc from a well-known University with at least 50 % aggregate for SC/ST category and 55% for the General, OBC, and EWS category.
