APVVP CAS Specialist Recruitment Eligibility
Age Limit (as on 01/07/2021)

SC/ST/BC Candidates | 5 years |
Ex-Servicemen | in addition to the length of service in the armed forces. |
PwD | 10 years & Maximum age limit is 50 years with all relaxations put together. |
Educational Qualification:-
CAS (General):
- The candidate must have passed MBBS or its equivalent from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- The candidate must be registered with AP State Medical Council constituted under MCI Act as applicable and shall have updated renewal.
CAS (Specialist):
- The candidate must have passed PG Degree/Diploma/DNB in a specialty (refer to vacancy table) from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- The candidate must be registered with AP State Medical Council constituted under MCI Act as applicable and shall have updated renewal.
Dental Assistant Surgeon (DAS):
- The candidate should have passed BDS or its equivalent from a college recognized by the Dental Council of India.
- The candidate must be registered with AP State Dental Council constituted under DCI Act as applicable and shall have updated renewal.
APVVP CAS Specialist Recruitment Selection Process
The selection of the candidates will be done through below few steps:-
CAS Specialists
- 65% will be allocated for the aggregate marks obtained in all the years in P.G.Diploma or any other equivalent qualification.
- In addition, 10% will be allocated for P.G. Degree /DNB/ Equivalent qualification.
CAS General and DAS:
- 75 % will be allocated for the aggregate marks obtained in all the years in MBBS/DAS.
- Up to 10 marks i.e. 1.0 marks per completed year after acquiring requisite qualification.
Total Marks: 100
Weightage up to 15% will be given to the doctors working on a contract/outsourcing/ honorarium basis as shown below subject to their satisfactory service certified by the competent authority.
Based on Working Area:
- 2.5. marks per six months in Tribal Area.
- 2.0 marks per six months in Rural Area.
- 1.0 marks per six months in Urban Areas.
Based on COVID duties:
- 5 marks per six months.
- 10 marks per one year.
- 15 marks per one year six months
