UIDAI Overview

UIDAI stands for Unique Identification Authority of India, which works under the regulation of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. UIDAI was set up to manage and regulate the Aadhar enrolment, authentication and managing the operations of Aadhar Life Cycle. Exams Conducted by UIDAI

UIDAI conducts the recruitment exam to hire candidates for the following posts:

  1. Supervisor

  2. Operator

  3. Child Enrolment Lite Client (CELC) Operator

The exam, in general, is also known as the Aadhar exam. 

UIDAI Exam Calendar

UIDAI releases an official notification regarding the recruitment exam on its official portal containing information about the number of vacancies and exam dates. The online application date and exam dates are subject to changes hence, candidates are advised to keep checking the official portal for latest updates.

UIDAI Exam dates

The online application process for UIDAI recruitment exam was scheduled between 7th June to 30th July 2020. The exam date was postponed due to COVID-19 and the new dates shall be notified soon.

UIDAI Exams Eligibility

Every official recruitment notification specifies the eligibility criteria with respect to age, nationality and educational qualification. A candidate should check the eligibility criteria before filling up the exam form so that the application has no chance of rejection. 

  1. Age: Candidate should be of minimum 18 years in order to be eligible to appear for the exams

  2. Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India.

  3. Educational Qualification: The minimum qualification for the post of Operator/Supervisor/CELC Operator is that the candidate should have passed 12th grade from a recognized board in India.

 

UIDAI Exam Pattern

A candidate should always check for the exam pattern to get a clear understanding of the syllabus, subjects and types of questions. 

  1. UIDAI Exam for Operator/Supervisor:

  • A candidate has to score marks equal to or more than 77 in order to be qualified to work as a Supervisor. If a candidate scores between 61 to 76, one is qualified to become an Operator. Candidates with less than 61 marks are considered to be failed.

  • The exam contains a total of 9 modules and the time allowed is 110 minutes.

 

  1. UIDAI Exam for CELC Operator:

  • To be qualified for the appointment as CELC Operator, a candidate has to score a minimum 55% marks in UIDAI 2020 Exam. Candidates with less than 55% marks are considered failed.

  • The time allowed for the entire test is 50 minutes.
