Candidates have to enrol for a year-long PGDBF (Post-graduation Diploma in Banking and Finance) course, offered by Manipal University and NITTE University after qualifying in the entrance exam. After completion of the PGDBF course, they shall be appointed as Probationary Officers in Syndicate bank. The course is a one-year diploma course and after its successful completion, a candidate will be appointed as a probationary officer in Junior Management Grade /Scale-I
