RSMSSB Overview

RSMSSB (Rajasthan Subordinate & Ministerial Services Selection Board) was established by the State Government and the major role and responsibility of the board is to recruit potential candidates to various posts and ministerial departments. RSMSSB conducts recruitment exams to hire candidates for the post of junior engineer, patwari, stenographer, librarian, pharmacist, lab assistant and investigator.

RSMSSB Exam Dates

The important dates for various exams conducted by RSMSBB are as follows:

1. The exam for the post of librarian is scheduled to be held on 19th September 2020.

2. The exam for the post of pharmacist is scheduled to be held on 4th October 2020.

3. The exam for the post of junior engineer for varied departments is scheduled to be held between 5th December to 17th January 2021.

4. The exam for the post of patwari is scheduled to be held on 28th February 2021.

5. The exam for the post of stenographer is scheduled to be held on 21st March 2021.

 Vacancies for Various RSMSSB Exams

The vacancies for various exams conducted by RSMSSB are decided by the recruiting body with respect to different posts. The vacancies for various posts for 2020 are as follows:

RSMSSB Exams Eligibility

It is necessary to check for eligibility before applying for the examination. The eligibility criteria are specified with respect to age, nationality and educational qualification. A candidate should check whether one fulfils the eligibility so that the application has no chance of getting rejected.

1. Age: The minimum and maximum age limit for the candidates is 18 years and 35 years respectively.

2. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 12th standard/must have RSCIT computer diploma certificate/must have a diploma in computer science and engineering.

3. Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India in order to be eligible to sit for the exams.

RSMSSB Exams Pattern

The exam pattern gives a comprehensive idea about the examination that the candidate is about to take. The exam pattern tells you about the syllabus, weightage of each subject and the types of questions asked. 

The recruitment exam is an objective type test with multiple-choice questions. The exam also has a negative marking scheme and one-third marks are deducted for every wrong answer attempted by the candidate.
