FCI Overview

The Food Corporation of India (FCI) is an organization that works under the regulations of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. FCI Exam Eligibility

The official exam notification always specifies the eligibility criteria with respect to age, nationality and educational qualification.   1. FCI Manager Accounts:

  • Maximum age limit of the candidate should be 28 years

  • Associate Membership of:

  1. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India; or

  2. The Institute of Cost Accountants of India; or

  3. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India

OR

  1. Post Graduate Full Time MBA (Fin) Degree/ Diploma of minimum 2 years recognised by UGC/AICTE

  2. B.com from any government recognised university

  1. FCI Manager Technical:

  • Maximum age limit of the candidate should be 28 years

  • B.Sc or B.Tech degree from any recognized university or any institution approved by AICTE.

 

FCI Exam Pattern

A candidate should always understand the exam pattern before starting to prepare. Exam pattern gives a complete idea about the syllabus, types of questions and the weightage of each subject. The selection process for FCI Manager comprised of the following stages:

  1. Online examination

  2. Interview

  3. Training

The online examination is conducted in two phases Phase 1 and Phase 2. 

The Phase 1 exam has a total of 100 questions and the time allotted is 60 minutes.

The Phase 2 exam has a total of 120 questions and the time allotted is 90 minutes.
