ESIC stands for Employee State Insurance Corporation, is a health insurance scheme for workers. It is self-financing by nature and all the insurance activities are governed and regulated by the ESI Act, 1948. ESIC Exams Eligibility

It is always important to check for the eligibility criteria before applying for national-level examinations. The eligibility criteria are specified with respect to age, nationality and education qualification and the candidate should check whether one falls under the criteria so that the application has no chance of rejection.

1. Nationality: Candidate should be a citizen of India in order to be eligible to sit for the exams.

2. Educational Qualification: 

• Junior Engineer: Graduation degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.

• Stenographer: Qualified intermediate or 12th class from recognized board.

• UDC: Graduation degree from any recognized university or institution.

• MTS: Qualified matriculation from any recognized board.

3. Age Limit: The minimum age limit for the candidate is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years.

ESIC Exams Pattern

The exam pattern gives a complete idea about the examination that the candidate is about to take. It gives a clear understanding of the syllabus, the weightage of the subjects, the time limit and marking scheme. It sets an expectation level in the minds of the candidates.
