BIS Exam Eligibility

The eligibility criteria are specified for various posts so that only those candidates who fulfill the eligibility norms, fill up the examination form. 

The eligibility criteria for different posts is as follows:

  1. Age: The minimum and maximum age limit for the candidate is 27 years and 35 years, respectively.

  2. Educational Qualification:

 

  1. Assistant Director (Administration) for Legal: Candidates must have a degree in law or relevant experience of working in any Public Sector Undertaking or autonomous body.

 

  1. Assistant Director (Finance): Candidate must be a CA/CWA/MBA and must have relevant experience of working with an autonomous body or government organization.

 

  1. Assistant Director (Marketing & Consumer Affairs): Candidate must have an MBA degree or possess a Master’s degree in Journalism or Social work from a recognized university or institution.

  2. Assistant Director (Library): Candidate must have a master’s degree in Library and Information Science

 

  1. Assistant Section Officer: Candidate must have a graduation degree from any recognized university or institution.

  2. Personal Assistant: Candidates must have a graduation degree from any recognized university and must have knowledge of shorthand typing in English and Hindi.

  3. Junior Translator (Hindi): Candidates must have a post-graduation degree from any recognized university and must have relevant experience related to translation work from English to Hindi.

  4. Library Assistant: Candidate must have a graduation degree in Library Science.

  5. Stenographer: Candidate must have a graduation degree from any recognized university.

  6. Senior Secretariat Assistant: Candidate must have a graduation degree from any recognized university.

  7. Junior Secretariat Assistant: Candidate must have a graduation degree from any recognized university.
