BOI Overview

Bank of India commenced its operations in the year 1906 by a group of eminent businessmen, in Mumbai. It was under private ownership until 1969, and then it was nationalized with 13 other banks. Bank of India has been the first bank among the nationalised banks to establish a fully computerised branch and ATM facility in Mumbai way back in 1989.

BOI Exam Dates

The important dates for Bank of India recruitment exam are as follows:

  1. The online application date for the post of Grade 4 Officers in Bank of India is scheduled between 16th to 30th September 2020.

  2. The exam date 2020 for PO, SO, and Clerk exam for BOI has not been notified yet.

 

Vacancies for BOI Exam

The number of vacancies released by the recruiting authority depends upon the required candidates for varied posts. For the year 2020, BOI has released 214 vacancies for the post of Grade 4 Officers. For other posts of PO, SO and Clerk, the vacancies for 2020 have not been notified yet.

BOI Exam Eligibility

The official notification released contains the eligibility criteria with respect to age, nationality and educational qualification. A candidate should check the eligibility before filling up the examination form.

  1. Age: The minimum and maximum age of the candidate should be 21 years and 30 years, respectively.

  2. Nationality: Candidate should be a citizen of India to appear for the exam.

  3. Educational Qualification: Candidate must have a graduation degree from any government recognized university or institution.

Bank of India selection is through online test /or personal interview/GD, depending on the number of applicants.
