Common-Law Admission Test (CLAT 2021) aspirants can now register themselves on the official website of the Consortium of National Law Universities -- consortiumofnlus.ac.in from January 01,2021 to March 31,2021.
NLUs offer 2,538 seats in the LLB course and 742 seats in the LLM course.
CLAT is conducted for the admission to five year integrated LLB and LLM courses. This year CLAT is scheduled to be held on May 9, 2021 between 3.00 pm - 5.00 pm.
The fee for the online application is Rs 4000/- for the open category candidates and Rs 3500/- for SC, ST, OBC, and BPL candidates.
The candidates who appeared in class 12 exam in 2020 or will be appearing in 2021 are eligible for CLAT 2021. They should have a minimum score of 45 percent or its equivalent grade in the qualifying exam. The candidates belonging to the reserved category have a relaxation of 5 percent.
Candidates are needed to have an LLB degree with at least 50 percent marks or equivalent grade for LLM admission through CLAT 2021 PG. (relaxation of 5 percent is given to the reserved category candidates for the same).
