Central Govt Looking For A Trouble-Free Future For Class 10 Students

States like Punjab, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu have canceled class 10 board exams due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The central govt is now looking for a mechanism that will prevent the students who did not write the exams from any trouble while getting admission to higher classes.
States like Punjab, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu have canceled class 10 board exams this year because of the COVID-19 outbreak, and students from these three states have been promoted without any written exams. Additionally, students were awarded scores and results based on pre-boards and other internal assessments. It is known to all that the states canceled the exams only to safeguard the students and not let them fall prey to the dangerous Coronavirus.
Now, since these students will be choosing their streams and applying for admission in 11th standard, junior college, or pre-university, the central govt of India is in the search for a sound mechanism and rigid guidelines which will ensure that the students who did not write their exams due to the COVID-19 pandemic do not face any trouble while moving ahead in their educational journeys.
Not only the scores of class 10 play a significant role in the students choosing their preferred stream but also affect the process of admission if the student is moving from one board to the other. Hence, the central government, along with the various state governments, is also on the hunt for a set of guidelines that will help these students, especially if they move from their state board to CBSE.
