AHSEH Class 12 Board Exam Results Declared, Boys Outshone By Girls

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEH) has announced the Class 12 board exam results, and girls have outshone boys by attaining a higher pass percentage in all streams. In the Science stream, girls have recorded a 94.33% pass percentage, while boys have registered a 91.09% pass percentage. As for the Arts field, the pass percentage of girls and boys stand at 93.85% and 89.55%, respectively. At last, the Commerce stream was, again, dominated by girls with a 94.33% pass percentage. Boys recorded at pass percentage of 91.09% in the Commerce stream.
As far as the overall pass percentage in different streams are concerned, 88.06%, 88.18%, and 78.28% of the total students cleared the Science, Commerce, and Arts stream, respectively. Just 840 students had written papers for the Vocational stream, and 222 of them secured first division. The pass percentage for the Vocational stream stands at 91.55%.

With a score of 97.2%, Abhinash Kalita topped the Science stream, whereas Krishna Maheshwari grabbed the top spot in Commerce with 94.2%. As for Arts, Pubali Deka and Shraddha Borgohain topped the charts with 96.2%.
