SSC JE 2020 Overview
SSC JE Exam is conducted by the SSC (Staff Selection Commission). SSC will hold an open competitive examination for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking for engineering jobs in government organizations.
The process of online registration has started from 1st October 2020 to 30th October. Although the date of the exam has not been released yet, but will soon be released by SSC. Vacancies will be determined in due course. Candidates are advised to regularly keep in touch with the authorized SSC website https://ssc.nic.in/ for details and updates.

SSC JE 2020 Cut Off
Minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I and Paper-II are as follows:
1 UR : 30%
2 OBC/ EWS : 25%
3 Others : 20%
Based on the normalized marks scored in the (Paper-I) i.e. Computer Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Paper-II.
Based on the performance in Paper-I+Paper-II, candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification.
Final selection and allocation of Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Paper-I+Paper-II and the preference of Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations exercised by them at the time of Document Verification.
