SSB Constable Recruitment 2020 Overview
Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Ministry of Home Affairs has extended the online applications for recruitment to the post of Constable. Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has announced a total of 1522 vacancies for Constable posts. Online applications are invited for filling up the following posts of Constables (Driver, Laboratory Assistant, Veterinary, Ayah, Carpenter, Plumber, Painter, Tailor, Cobbler, Gardener, Cook, Washerman, Barber, Safaiwala, Water Carrier and Waiter) in Group-‘C’ Non-Gazetted in Shastra Seema Bal, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The posts are temporary but likely to continue. Selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India or outside the territory of India and will be governed by SSB Act and rules and other rules amended from time to time.
Aspirants who want to serve the country by joining the defence forces should apply for the exam. The SSB released the notification on 29th August 2020 and the application process was from 29th August 2020 to 04th September 2020. But now SSB has extended the last date of application till 20th December 2020. The Last date for the candidates belonging to a remote area is 27th December 2020.
