RRB Group D Overview
Railway Recruitment Boards organizes the RRB group D examination, to hire candidates for posts like Track Maintainer Grade IV/ Assistant Pointsman (level I posts). This national level competitive exam has millions of candidates appearing for it every year.
As in 2020, the exam will be held to fill a total vacancy of 1,03,769 seats. The schedule for the online written test is expected to be announced in August.

As per the latest updates from the conducting body, the current situation regarding the 2020 recruitment process goes as such.
22nd July 2020: RRB GROUP D 2020 schedule for the online test will be declared in August.
26th June 2020: Indian Railways will be generating 8 lakh jobs in a span of 125 days.
22nd June 2020: Indian Railways will be hurrying the process of the RRB GROUP D exam after the ongoing situation releases.
20th April 2020: RRB GROUP D exam can take place by the end of the year.
