The NTPC Limited full-form is National Thermal Power Corporation Limited. NTPC is India’s largest energy conglomerate with roots planted way back in 1975 to accelerate power development in India. Since then it has established itself as the dominant power major with presence in the entire value chain of the power generation business. NTPC became a Maharatna company in May 2010. As of January 2020, there are 10 Maharatnas CPSEs in India. NTPC is ranked No. 2 Independent Power Producer(IPP) in Platts Top 250 Global Energy Company rankings.
Applications are invited from energetic young Diploma Engineers with brilliant academic record to join this organization for Pakri Barwadih Coal Mining Project (Jharkhand), Chatti Bariatu Coal Mining Project (Jharkhand), Keredari Coal Mining Project (Jharkhand), Dulanga Coal Mining Project (Odisha) and Talaipalli Coal Mining Project (Chhattisgarh) under Coal Mining Region of NTPC Limited. NTPC has announced a total of 70 vacancies for Diploma Engineers posts in various disciplines. The process of online application started on 23rd November 2020 and will end on 12th December 2020. About Training: Selected candidates will undergo training for a period of 2 years at various NTPC Coal Mining sites. The final place of posting in Coal Mining Projects will be allocated after successful completion of the training.
