Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Limited, a vibrant growth-oriented Public Sector Company registered under ‘Company Act, 1956’. It was formed out of the restructured Assam State Electricity Board in 2003 and was notified as to the State Transmission Utility (STU). Its core business is to efficiently transport electrical power from electrical power bulk heads to the distribution company networks in the state of Assam.
Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Limited (AEGCL) has released a total of 341 vacancies for the post of Assistant Manager and Junior Manager. The vacancy position mentioned in this Employment Notice is tentative which may increase or decrease at the discretion of AEGCL. The salary for the respective posts of AEGCL are as follows –

AEGCL Recruitment Exam Pattern
AEGCL Recruitment Fee
1) Rs.800.00 (Rupees Eight Hundred) is only exclusive of all applicable taxes for General/OBC/MOBC candidates.
2) Rs.400.00 (Rupees Four Hundred) is only exclusive of all applicable taxes for SC/ST candidates.
3) Application fees are exempted for PWD candidates. Certificate of PWD should have been issued by the appropriate authority. The applicable candidate will have to submit a copy of the PWD certificate at the time of viva-voce (if called for).
