The Jammu and Kashmir Bank has published the recruitment notification for the post of Apprentice in various branches of the Bank on its official website. A total of 390 vacancies have been released for the Apprentice posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online between August 29, 2023, and September 12, 2023.

JK Bank Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
i) Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any of the disciplines of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of the Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. The result should be declared by or before the last date of registration.
ii) The apprentice should be proficient in the local language (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) of the respective region/area. Preference shall be given to domiciles of the respective regions/areas.
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2023)
Minimum Age: 20 Years
Maximum Age: 28 Years
Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Application Fee
The Candidates will pay the requisite fee of Rs.700/- for the Unreserved category and Rs.500/- for the Reserved category, to be paid through online mode.
Salary
The apprentices are eligible for a stipend of Rs. (7500/- + 1500/-) per month for the engagement period of one (01) year. Apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/benefits.
Selection Process
Online Written Test (objective type):
1. The engagement of Apprentices shall be based on the merit obtained in the online examination. The pattern of the online examination is as follows:

2. There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth (1/4th) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
3. Merit List will be drawn district / region-wise and category-wise.
4. Candidates qualified in the test will be placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective districts/regions and Categories.
5. In case more than one candidate scores the same marks in the Merit List, such candidates will be ranked in the merit list according to their age in descending order.
6. Online examination will be conducted only in English language.
