For the candidates who were aspiring to be a part of the banking industry and were eagerly waiting for the examination dates amidst the pandemic, there is some good news. SBI has officially released the dates for Bank PO exam for 2020. The notification was released on the official website of -sbi.co.in. The examination dates as mentioned in the notification are 31st December 2020 followed by 2nd, 4th and 5th January 2021. SBI is aiming to fill total 2000 posts for Probationary Officers, across various branches in the country, through this examination.
The PO exam has three stages- Prelims, Mains and Interview and a candidate is required to qualify through all these in order to designate for the post. The prescribed application fee for SBI PO exam 2020 is Rs 750 for General/EWS/OBC candidates and ‘Nil’ for SC/ ST/PWD candidates. The SBI PO exam syllabus comprises of English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The online exam is of total 100 marks with sectional cut-offs for qualifying.
As per various reliable sources, the basic pay of an SBI Probationary Officers is Rs 27,620, in the starting and are also given gradual four advance increments. Candidates are also eligible for various perquisites like DA (Dearness Allowance), CCA (City Compensatory Allowance), HR (House Rent Allowance). Apart from that, candidates are also required to serve a bond of two years with the bank, prior to joining the post.
