J&K Bank PO exams are being held across the country at around 39 centres, with approximately 56,000 candidates expected to appear for this exam. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is conducting the national-level examination in liaison with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), for a seamless online facility for conducting the examination. On the very first day of the PO Exam, 6000 candidates turned out for the first phase of the online preliminary exam.
A handout released by the J&K bank mentions that it is strictly following all the government guidelines and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), to ensure that all safety measures are adhered to while managing such influx of candidates for this examination. All the examination centres are set up in the government and private educational institutions and are taking care of the convenience and safety of the candidates.
For transparent and effective conduct of the online examination, the bank has designed teams constituting the top management from zonal offices and who are visiting the examination centres to ensure the efficacy of arrangements made for the safety and convenience of the candidates. Senior officers from the J&K Bank’s human resource and technology departments monitored all the test-sessions online throughout the day along with personnel from TCS at the bank’s corporate office.
