In a recent update from one of the most popular universities of the country, University of Delhi has announced the schedule for the release of DU Admissions 2020 cut-off list. DU sixth cut-off and the seventh cut-off list shall also be announced along with the special cut-off list. The regulatory authority of the University published the admission schedule for the admission on November 21, 2020. The special cut-off list is released in order to provide admission to the selected vacant seats in a few of the courses.
As per the details of the notification, the DU Admissions 2020 for merit-based courses will be conducted between 24th November to 9th December 2020. The online registration process for Special Cut-off List will be held between 24th to 25th November 2020. Post this, the university also has plans to release the 6th Cut-off List 2020, the admissions for which shall be affected between 30th November to 2nd December 2020. Still, if seats remain vacant, this year the University also plans to release the seventh cut-off list.
The university also has released a detailed set of guidelines and eligibility criteria for students who are willing to take admission to the University of Delhi. The eligibility criteria are also mentioned for those candidates who seek admission under the pending cut-off lists and also fulfil the eligibility criteria. The rules mention that only those candidates can take admission who are eligible under the pending cut-off lists but have not taken admission to any college based on the five cut-off lists. Also, applicants who have cancelled their admission in the DU 5th cut-off and students already admitted to any DU affiliated college or course are not eligible to participate in the DU special cut-off list.
