Soon after the announcement of the board exam dates by CBSE, various states are now geared up for the conduct of their State Board Exams.
- ASSAM: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has officially announced the dates for the conduct of HLSC (10th Board ) exams on their official website sebaonline.org. The HSLC exams are to commence from May 11, 2021, and will continue till June 1,2021. The practicals are to be conducted on March 4 and 5, 2021. The students might visit the SEBA website for fetching other necessary details like Datesheet, syllabus, exam timings, download of Admit cards etc.
- GUJARAT: The state of Gujarat might release the secondary and senior secondary board exam dates in the upcoming week. According to the recent updates, the tentative dates for the Gujarat Board SSC and HSC exam maybe May 10 or 17. The board has already reduced the syllabus by 30 percent due to the prevailing pandemic conditions. Around 0.5 lakh candidates might apply for class 10 board exams while approximately 5.30 lakh candidates are expected to appear for class 12 exams. Owing to the present scenario, the board might also change the exam pattern for the benefit of the students.
- MAHARASHTRA: Maharashtra School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad stated that the Maharashtra Board class 10 exams may be conducted after April 15, 2021 and Class 12 exams to begin from MAY 1, 2021. The Minister confirmed that the date sheet for the SSC and HSC exams will be released soon. According to the latest updates the exam dates are unlikely to shift more as some areas of the state might be stuck by a heatwave in the month of May and the state experiences heavy rains in the month of June.
- UTTAR PRADESH: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has received a record of 56 lakh applications for the upcoming 10th and 12th class exams. The application window for the same closed on January 5, 2021. The board will be announcing the dates for the High School and Intermediate Exams soon on its exam portal. As per the latest updates, the exam is likely to begin from the first or second week of February, 2021.
