WBPSC Recruitment Overview
West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) are hereby invited from Indian Citizens and others declared eligible by the Government of India for recruitment to the under mentioned posts which are permanent. The Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to the examination.
West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has released a total no. of 09 vacancies for the post of Geologist, Mining officer. The online application process of this exam is starting from 13 February 2020 and the last date for submission of an online application is 05 March 2020. Candidates are requested to apply well in advance before the closing date. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the vacancies, through the website https://wbpsc.gov.

WBPSC Recruitment has decided on the salary of candidates as per rules.

| GEOLOGIST | Rs.15, 600/- – Rs.42, 000/- (P.B. – 4A) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5, 400/-. |
| MINING OFFICER | Rs.15, 600/- – Rs.42, 000/- (P.B. – 4A) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6, 600/- |
WBPSC Recruitment Fee
Rs. 210/- (Rupees two hundred ten) only Candidates may in addition have to bear the following charges:
| For online payment through debit/credit cards: | Convenience fee @ 1% of the examination fee subject to a minimum of Rs. 5/- (Rupees Five) only plus 18% G.S.T. on such a convenience fee. |
| For online payment using the net banking facility: | A convenience fee of Rs. 5/- (Rupees Five) only plus 18% G.S.T. on such a convenience fee. |
| For offline payment through Bank Counter: | Service Charge of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty) only. |
S.C./S.T. candidates of West Bengal and Persons with disabilities (P.W.D.) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee. BC candidates of West Bengal are, however, required to pay the usual fee as aforesaid. NO EXEMPTION OF FEE IS AVAILABLE TO S.C./S.T. CANDIDATES OF OTHER STATES. No claim for refund of the fee will be entertained nor will it be held in reserve for any other examination.
